The Washington, D.C.-based American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy is an independent nonprofit organization that focuses on energy issues.

“Ohio’s current fiscal and economic challenges do not preclude the state from garnering considerable benefits from energy efficiency,” their report stated. “Energy efficiency and demand response are the lowest-cost resources available to moderate short-term impacts and are also the quickest to deploy, meaning that efficiency resources begin to generate financial savings for the state and its consumers quickly.”

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

The US could save almost $170 Billion with a national law requiring utility companies to foster more efficient customer electricity and gas use, energy campaigners say.

It estimates one requiring utilities to reduce electricity demand by 15% and natural gas demand by 10% by 2020 would yield households and businesses utility bill savings of $168.6 billion – some 16% more than its previous $144 billion projection.

This would also create 220,000 jobs, save the equivalent power demand of 48 million households, remove the need to build 390 power plants and cut carbon emissions by 262 million tonnes – equal to taking 48 million cars of the road for a year.

Using Commercial Security Window Film makes good business sense. When using this film for your windows you will feel more secure knowing if they are broken, the thief will not have easy access to the contents. When you make it more difficult for the burglar to gain entry, this extra time could allow the authorities to arrive before the thief can get in the building.

The advantages of using this Security Window Film also include making it harder for would-be burglars to see inside the store at night. They may not risk trying to gain entry because they may not be sure the store is empty. Since many businesses employ security at night, this may make a thief reconsider breaking into your store.

Window Film Protects Your Merchandise

Protect Your Merchandise

If you own a business that sells merchandise, such as furniture you will be particularly aware of what the sun can do to your product. Display windows are quite common in this type of business to allow the public to see what type of merchandise you have for sale. In case you have not noticed, Commercial Window Tinting Film is used to protect the furniture from the sun.

When the sun shines directly on anything – furniture, carpeting, drapes or wood – over a period of time it bleaches the color from the item. This can happen a lot faster than you would think it could. If you do not use Commercial Window Tinting on the windows of your display area, the items you are selling would have to be reduced due to discoloring from the sun.

Protecting your investment by using Commercial Window Film will help to keep your merchandise marketable. A business cannot afford to consistently mark down their merchandise and expect to make a profit.

If you own a home our residential window films will protect your personal possessions from fading and deteriorating. If you live in North East Ohio, Home Window Film in Westlake will protect your home from the damage caused by the sun reflecting off the lake and entering your home.
