Whether it is a lobby, conference room or private office you may use this window film to protect your privacy or the privacy of others. When you use the window film on your commercial building the reduction in the sun is one great benefit but some types reflect back the outdoors through the glass on the outside which makes for a great look.

Instead of your employees feeling like they are being stared at by perfect strangers they are assured that the outside world cannot see them. The Safety Window Film of today is much easier to install and much better looking so your commercial business can keep the great look – inside and out – that it always has maintained. Window film has changed a lot over the past few years and the old type that looked metallic or developed fissures and bubbles has been replaced with new better Commercial Window Tinting Films .

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

COLUMBUS ? Some newly purchased technology will allow the Ohio Highway Patrol to save money and energy in its 1,150 cruisers statewide ? even when they?re turned off.

Five-watt solar panels soon will be installed at the rear deck of the cars at all posts. The panels will be wired directly to the cruiser?s battery and will convert solar energy into power for the vehicle, an OHP spokeswoman said Thursday.

She said the technology will allow troopers to turn off cars when they?re on stationary patrol or at accident scenes. While the cruiser is off, the panels will power the troopers? radios and other electronic equipment and prevent the battery from dying.

Save $ and energy this summer (12 News Phoenix)

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

Summer temperatures are here and boy do they cost! Of course, the air conditioner is the biggest energy drain on our house, therefore the most expensive. We should have already done the pre-summer check but if not, there are always things you can do. The idea is to keep the air conditioner working as efficient as possible. So change your pump filters monthly. This will help them perform at their best.

If, however, it’s too late and the a-c goes out, in Arizona, that’s an emergency, says Damon Gross with APS. They have a list of Oualified Contractors within their program. Call 602-371-3636 within normal business hours and someone will call you back within 15 minutes. They will come to your house within 24 hours. If the problem happens outside of business hours call 602-248-7767, the Heat Pump Council can answer calls on weekends and off hours. But the major point is, no matter what, a responsible party will be there to help when other contractors may be too busy.
