Police v. Terrorists or Police = Terrorists?
Once, I was a law enforcement student. I went to college and took all the classes that a degree requires. I even worked in the civilian equivalent of a police officer. After I was injured on the job, and after 9/11, I saw some very negative changes in the police forces.
A few examples of police conduct are included, and I want your input on how this ‘protects’ and ‘serves’ America.
A teenage girl is stopped for speeding. She doesn’t have a permit to drive. The officer makes a deal with her, star in a homemade porn video of his, and he’ll let her off. He then get her and her sister into a film, and passes it around for his buddies to see.
A black man is stopped in a traffic check. He doesn’t comply fast enough, so the cop drags him out of the window , breaking his neck.
An elderly woman stops, on the wrong side of the road, to check her mail. An officer notices this and questions her. During the questioning, he pulls his OC/CS/ Pepper Spray and sprays her in the face.
Repeatedly, officers demand to enter homes without warrants, take whatever they want, and then leave, without leaving ‘receipts’ for what they take. If the homeowners resist, they are arrested for ‘obstructing justice,’ and are beaten for it.
On or off duty, in unmarked vehicles, police tail or follow people and then arrest them for becoming nervous when they notice they are being followed by a vehicle that isn’t a police vehicle. Minor during the day, but at midnight?
In court, they knowingly exaggerate about the arrest and evidence, to make the case sound bigger than the facts show. They make false charges on weapons multiply drug seizures, and add charges that never happen.
They are never ‘under oath’ in court, but the defendants are threatened that if they lie, they will be charged with perjury, a charge never placed against a police officer. Yet, the defendant is expected to lie, but the police are never suspected of this crime.
Everyone who is convicted of a crime, no matter how big or small, are considered a liar and scum. But, a police officer can do no wrong. Every cop says that every con lies and say that they didn’t do the crime. But, ever con I have met, say they broke the law, but not what the cop said they did. Now, today, every cop claims that all blacks use drugs, and all belong to gangs, but they never consider their fellow officers who abuse drugs as drug users, or that they belong to a gang, where they all wear blue uniforms and retaliate for wrongs done to them, just like a gang would do.
Do the police really think they are helping American and stand against terrorists, or are they just another gang of terrorists, with government backing? They even have superior weapons (machine guns) and training (often by US Army trainers) to combat the people they claim to protect, and not the terrorists or gangs.
What do you think? And, what (legally) should be done about it, if anything?
chensel777,
Wrong call.
Not a cop, but was headed that way. I know all this crap because I have seen it. And, I have called them on it, and gotten heat for it. I’m persona non grata to the police, because I dare call them dirty when they break the laws.
No links because 90% of the stuff they do never gets to the newsroom. Sometimes, someone is lucky and gets it on film, like King, and things fly. Otherwise, it is just us loners who think its wrong.
I was taught about the US Constitution, and how every American has Rights. I did not, and will not, serve this system that punishes the innocent and allows the police to run over them.
