How heavily enforced are auto window tinting in NJ?
I am thinking about going for a light window tint (50%) with all windows except the windshield. I have a black car with beige leather seats and would like to protect the interior as well as complement the dark colored car. Anybody have an idea how noticeable and enforceable it will be in NJ?

What it does is make it ticket bait/cops dont do anything until its late and your around with that blacked out (illegal) the way you are doing it/they want to search you and it and you have given them “probable cause”/light out/and not making turn signals etc/anything to get a peek//but the tint is the spotlight///so if you have nothing in the car and are legit/ticket for the tint///so easy

how much energy savings with window tinting?
We have large sliding doors in Kihei, HI. We are considering window tinting to save energy. How much did you save on your energy bills by tinting your windows? They are west facing, and get much sun.

Air conditioning is a large make-up of your energy bill. Tinting your windows will reduce infrared penetration into the house meaning less heat getting into the house from sunlight so you use the AC system less.

In a nut shell it really helps if you have some window film background. Weather is important since warmer climates have more need but much more competition. There are car tint shops and flat glass and numerous brands to choose to represent.
In terms of capital it helps to have a 6 month saved income because your outlay in money (materials/labor ) will be high at first.
If you tell me where you are located I’d have a better idea at your potential success.
